Temple Fork Outfitters Canada Lifetime Fly Rod Warranty

Our lifetime fly rod warranty applies to the original registered owner and guarantees against defects in materials or workmanship for the life of the rod.

NOTE: We only warranty fly rods that were purchased in Canada. If you purchased your rod outside of Canada, please refer to the Temple Fork Outfitters USA website for more information. Warranty claims originating from outside Canada on a TFO rod purchased in Canada will be subject to an additional shipping fee to return it to where it was sent from. TFO Canada does not offer warranty or broken rod service for TFO rod blanks or custom built rods, this service is only for factory built rods purchased in Canada.

TFO Canada provides a replacement warranty service to the original registered owner for the lifetime of the rod. If we no longer have the appropriate parts to service your fly rod, we will contact you with alternative options.

To receive warranty service, your fly rod must be registered with Temple Fork Outfitters Canada. Submit your registration on line at www.templeforkoutfitters.ca. TFO Canada reserves the right, at their sole discretion, to accept warranty requests on unregistered or second owner fly rods.

Our Guarantee Against Defects In Materials Or Workmanship

We guarantee our fly rods against defects in materials or workmanship for the life of the rod. Fly rod breakage due to manufacturing deficiencies rarely occurs. As a result, we handle requests under this guarantee on a case-by-case basis. Therefore, if you believe your rod qualifies for service under this warranty, please contact us before sending in your rod. We will provide you with further instructions to ensure that your request is handled appropriately and efficiently. We want you to be satisfied with your purchase and will work to have you fishing again as quickly as possible.

This warranty does not cover:

  • Shipping damage
  •  Breakage caused by neglect, misuse, or accident
  •  Unnecessary human force or incorrect assembly
  •  Improper maintenance or modifications
  •  Normal wear and tear caused by long term use
  •  Loss or theft

Warranty Service

TFO Canada is not responsible in the event that your rod is lost or damaged during transport. In every possible instance please send your rod directly to us, rather than through the dealer from whom you purchased it.

Our limited one year Mooching / Downrigger rod warranty, which applies to the original registered owner, guarantees against defects in materials or workmanship for the period of one year from the original purchase date.

Temple Fork Outfitters Canada Reel Warranty

Temple Fork Outfitters Canada guarantees every reel against defects in material or workmanship for a period of 2 years from the original purchase date. In the event that a reel is found to be defective within the warranty period, TFO Canada will repair or replace the reel at our discretion. This warranty applies to the original owner only.

This warranty is for our Atoll series, BVK series, LA series, HSR series, NXT series Prism and Pacific II reel. To confirm eligibility on discontinued reel models, please contact our Customer Service Team at:

 Tibor Reel Warranty

All [Tibor Reel products] carry a limited lifetime warranty. This warranty covers the repair or replacement of any part due to defect in material or workmanship. Colors may vary between original and replacement parts. Parts for discontinued models may be replaced with parts for current models. Warranty is valid for original owner only and is not transferable. Warranty is effective only for reels purchased through an Authorized Tibor Dealer. Tibor Reel Corporation, at its sole discretion, will determine if the product is covered under this warranty due to faulty workmanship. This warranty does not cover damage caused by accident, misuse, neglect, improper maintenance or normal wear and tear caused by use of the reel over time. For repairs not covered by the warranty, a quotation will be forwarded for approval before repairs proceed.

Please download, print and fill out our warranty repair form and include it with your package.

Please remove all line and backing before returning your reel for service or repair. Tibor Reel Corporation cannot be responsible for lost or damaged line and backing.

$50 for international shipping.
