Temple Fork Outfitters Canada Lifetime Fly Rod Warranty
**Please Note: We only service fly rods that were purchased in Canada. If you purchased your rod outside of Canada, please refer to the Temple Fork Outfitters USA website.
The Temple Fork Outfitters Canada Lifetime Fly Rod Warranty applies for the life of the original registered owner only. Your rod must be registered by submitting the warranty registration by mail or online. Regardless of the cause, if you break your rod we will replace the broken section(s) for $30.00 per broken section + tax.
If you live in the Calgary area:
Feel free to bring your broken rod to our office to have it repaired on site. The $30.00 per broken section service charge still applies to walk-in repairs. Click here for a map to Springbrook.
For all other warranty repairs:
To mail in your warranty repair, please place the following items and information in an insured and padded envelope:
- a 6 inch piece of the broken section(s) that includes the ferrule portion (used to guarantee a proper fit). If the entire rod is broken send in the whole rod.
- A description of the rod including the series name, length, line wt., and number of pieces (i.e. Signature Series 9'0" 6wt 2pc)
- Your return mailing address and phone number
- $30.00 per broken section + your provincial tax (GST, HST, etc.)

Payment Methods: We accept cheque (made payable to Springbrook Manufacturing Ltd.) and credit card (VISA, Mastercard, and American Express) payments. Credit card information should be included in the envelope and should be comprised of card number and expiry date. Alternately, you can include instructions with your shipment to have us phone you for a credit card number.
So what happens when we receive your rod?
If you have properly followed the instructions above, we will have your replacement section(s) on its way back to you within 24 hours of receiving the broken section at our office. If we no longer have the necessary replacement part in our inventory, we will replace the entire rod with an equivalent model for a single replacement fee of $30.00+tax. We cover the return shipping cost and use Canada Post Expedited Parcel service to ship your repaired section(s) back to you.
Guarantee Against Defects in Materials or Workmanship
If you believe your fly rod broke due to defects in the material or construction of the rod, we kindly ask you to send us the entire rod for evaluation.
In order for the repair to be considered under this guarantee, you must include a note indicating that you believe the rod broke for the above reason. Even if you believe that the breakage was caused by defects in the material or workmanship of your rod, we still request that you send payment for the appropriate number of broken sections.
Upon receiving your rod, we will evaluate the damages to determine if in fact the repair falls under this guarantee. If we determine that your repair qualifies for the guarantee we will replace, at our sole discretion, the broken section(s) or if necessary the entire rod. In this case, we will return your cheque with the replaced section(s), or if you have given us a credit card number we will not proceed with payment.
However, in the event that we determine that the damages were not caused by a defect in the material or workmanship of the rod, we will proceed normally with the payment and replace the the broken section(s).
This guarantee does not cover: deficiency resulting from shipping; damages caused by neglect, misuse or accidental events; unnecessary human force or assembly; improper maintenance or modifications; normal wear and tear caused by use over time; loss or theft.
Warranty Eligibility:
The preceding warranty applies to the following TFO Canada fly rod series': Lefty Kreh BVK Series, Lefty Kreh Signature Series 2pc and 4 pc, Lefty Kreh NXT Outfits, Lefty Kreh Finesse Series, Lefty Kreh Ti 2pc, Lefty Kreh Professional Series, Lefty Kreh TiCr, Lefty Kreh TiCrX, Special Edition 10th Anniversary,Casting For Recovery, Lefty Kreh Bluewater, Lefty Kreh Axiom, Signature Spey, Deer Creek Spey, and Deer Creek Switch rods.
